Early Life
Brown was raised on Lake Lanier by his mother Bettye and step-father Jody Moses, a dentist from Cumming, Georgia. He attended Mashburn Elementary School in Cumming, and Lakeview Academy in Georgia, and later moved to Lumpkin County High School, where he graduated from.
When Brown was eight years of age, he was given his mother’s guitar. Also, one of his stepfather’s patients was given the job to teach him classical guitar.
