Todd Palin is one of the famous American personalities. Todd is an experienced oil field production operator and fisherman. The businessman was born on September 6, 1964 and came into the public eye for his businesses and position as the first gentleman of Alaska from 2006 to 2009.

Palin led a quiet lifestyle, until he began catching headlines as the husband of former Alaska governor Sarah Palin. Sarah and Todd had been married for over three decades, which is why their net worth has been combined. During the divorce, Todd requested to have 50/50 split of their assets including several real estate properties that the two owned.

Real Estate Properties

Todd is recognized to have owned numerous real estate properties with his former wife. The two had a $1.75 million six-bedroom home in Scottsdale, that they bought in 2011. The duo sold the home in 2016 for $2.275 million.

Todd also co-owned a property valued a little over $1 million in Scottsdale, Arizona, which they bought in 2015. The couple had also began constructing a large home which they did not complete due to differences. The two sold the half complete project for $6.2 million, making a profit if $5.263 million.  Apart from the mentioned real estate properties, the couple have other properties in Alaska.

Career

Palin is recognized for his expertise as an oil field production worker, commercial fisher and snowmachine racer. Palin worked for eighteen years for BP in North Slope oil fields of Alaska. In 2007, due to conflict of interest, Todd asked for leave because his wife was running for Alaska gubernatorial seat.

Todd returned to his longtime career after sometime and he accepted a position as production operator. In September 18, 2009, he resigned and cited that he needed to spend more time with his family.

Apart from his career as an oil field expert, Todd is a commercial salmon fisherman at Bristol Bay. Additionally, as of late 2009, Palin was a community volunteer who worked for youth sports, coaching basketball and hockey.

Palin has participated in numerous snowmachine race, and he is a four-time champion of the Tesoro Iron Dog. The famous personality has participated in the races since 1993, racing with his teammate Scott Davis with whom he won in 2007.

Personal Life

Palin eloped with his high-school girlfriend Sarah Heath in August 1988. The two would marry later and welcome five children including Bristol Sheeran Marie, a television reality personality and public speaker. Palin filed for divorce on August 29, 2019 and it was finalized on March 23, 2020.
