Growing up, Hernandez lived in Los Angeles until he turned four years. His family then moved to Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico. Hernandez was dedicated to join the music industry and he even worked on his musical career from a young age.

At the age of 8, Hernandez was already composing his own songs and playing them to his family members. He would rely on their critiques to know how he is performing and how he could improve to create better music.

His parents saw the potential and helped him nurture it by enrolling him at a music school in Culiacan. He then played for a group of musicians who represented Sinaloa called Los Amables del Norte.
